Carousel Therapeutic Riding Center

Physical, emotional, and developmental assistance and therapy from equine tasks such as riding and care.

Our Mission

Carousel Therapeutic Riding Center, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) company, under the guidance of the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH), promotes safety and optimal outcomes in equine-assisted activities and therapies for people with emotional and/or special needs.

Therapeutic Horseback Riding

Our riding center offers horseback riding lessons to children and adults with a variety of emotional, physical, and developmental challenges.

Carousel's program focuses on how people can benefit, on a multitude of levels, from equine tasks such as riding, caring for, and managing the horse with the ultimate goal of developing better functional skills for day-to-day activities.

We also provide volunteer opportunities to teenagers (16 years old and up). You do not need to have experience with horses, but you do need to be comfortable around them.
We are a PATH International member and our head instructor is PATH certified.
